Final Scene

Alrighty, first of all, this scene is not done, there is no background and it needs some touch ups, but I would like feedback and critique. This is the final little scene of the animation.

  1. Okay, you asked for crit, so here I go.

First off, this is your final scene. Slow it down, drag the emotion into the viewer's head. I'd slow the camera move down, emphasize the tear by having it move far more slowly (tears trickle in my experience unless they're gushing, meandering down the face as they work over all the pores and ridges of the skin). Use that tear. Make it glisten! This is a great idea you've got going here, but you're really rushing through it. We hardly get a chance to really feel anything before you've dragged us to your next image.

Now, to the good things, since crit must always be balanced. The expression is good, the eyes are haunting and stark, through I doubt that you're going to keep the iris black. The zoom in on the eyes is good and definitely forces the viewer's attention upon the greif and horror you've got there. The hands... Well, they're good for framing those emotions, but I don't know. For a guy to put his hands to his face in a "Oh my!" way... *shrugs* I'm no judge here.

All in all, for a rough scene, this is a good start! Keep up the great work, Alex, and feel free to ignore me.
